  • 1 tsp dried Italian herbs
  • 1 tsp Salt and 1/2 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Prep and Preheat: Preheat oven to 400°F. Rinse asparagus and trim tough ends by snapping where they naturally break.
  2. Create Marinade: Whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian herbs until well combined.
  3. Marinate Chicken: Place chicken breasts in resealable bag, pour half the marinade over them. Marinate 15-30 minutes for optimal flavor absorption.
  4. Sear Chicken: Heat oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat with olive oil. Sear marinated chicken 5-6 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Add Asparagus: Flip chicken, add asparagus to skillet. Drizzle remaining marinade over everything, stirring asparagus to coat evenly.
  6. Finish in Oven: Transfer skillet to preheated oven. Bake 20-25 minutes until chicken reaches internal temperature of 165°F.
