Easy Beef Cheddar Sliders Recipe

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12-pack King’s Hawaiian Slider Rolls
  • 3/4 pound roast beef
  • 15oz can cheddar cheese sauce (use half)
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon minced onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Tangy sauce to taste

Instructions

  1. Slice King’s Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place bottom halves in greased baking dish.
  2. Layer roast beef evenly across all bottom roll halves, ensuring good coverage.
  3. Spoon cheddar cheese sauce generously onto each slider, about 1 tablespoon per slider.
  4. Drizzle tangy sauce over cheese layer, then place top roll halves on sandwiches.
  5. Melt butter in microwave. Stir in minced onions, garlic powder, and onion powder until combined.
  6. Brush seasoned butter mixture over slider tops. Sprinkle extra minced onions if desired.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 10-12 minutes until tops are golden and cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from oven and serve immediately with additional sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • Let sliders rest for 2-3 minutes after baking to prevent cheese from running out when cut
  • Warm the roast beef slightly before assembly to ensure even heating throughout
  • Cover with foil if tops brown too quickly during baking to prevent burning
  • Use a serrated knife to slice through the connected rolls for cleaner cuts
  • Brush butter mixture while it’s still warm for better absorption into the bread
