  • Author: Jennie Graham

Description

Breakfast Pizza is a fun and delicious way to enjoy all your favorite morning flavors on one tasty slice! Topped with eggs, cheese, and your choice of meats or veggies, it’s perfect for a family breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pre-made pizza dough or 1 large flatbread
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup cooked bacon or sausage crumbles
  • ½ cup baby spinach (optional)
  • 1 small tomato, sliced (optional)
  • ¼ cup red bell pepper, diced (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Prepare the pizza dough: Roll out the pre-made pizza dough or place the flatbread on the baking sheet. Brush the surface with olive oil.
  • Add cheese and toppings: Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the dough. Add the cooked bacon or sausage, spinach, tomato, and red bell pepper.
  • Add the eggs: Crack the eggs directly onto the pizza, spacing them evenly across the surface. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  • Bake: Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown, the cheese is melted, and the eggs are set to your desired doneness (for runny yolks, cook for less time).
  • Serve: Slice the pizza and serve immediately, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian option, skip the meat and load up on more veggies like mushrooms or onions.
  • Customize with your favorite toppings like avocado, arugula, or even a drizzle of hot sauce.
  • If using a store-bought flatbread, adjust the baking time to 8-10 minutes to prevent overcooking.
