Instructions

  1. Prepare: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease 9×5-inch loaf pan thoroughly
  2. Mash bananas: In large bowl, mash ripe bananas until slightly chunky texture remains
  3. Mix wet ingredients: Stir granulated sugar, brown sugar, and eggs into mashed bananas until combined
  4. Combine dry ingredients: In separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, salt, cocoa powder, and chocolate chips
  5. Fold together: Gradually fold dry ingredients into banana mixture until just combined
  6. Add peanut butter: Gently swirl peanut butter through batter without overmixing
  7. Bake: Pour into prepared pan, bake 60-70 minutes until toothpick comes out clean
  8. Cool: Cool in pan 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack
