  • 4 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 ½ cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (optional for topping)
  • 2 tbsp melted butter (optional for topping)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Steam or microwave the broccoli until just tender, about 4-5 minutes, then drain.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Fold in the steamed broccoli and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish. Top with the remaining ½ cup of cheese.
  • If using, mix breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over the top for a crispy finish.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, until bubbly and golden brown.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
