- 1 lb Ground beef (80/20)
- 8 pieces Slider buns
- 4 slices American cheese slices
- 1/4 cup sliced Dill pickles
- 2 tbsp Ketchup
- 2 tbsp Mustard
- 1 cup Shredded lettuce
- 1 sliced Medium tomato
Instructions
- Step 1: Prep – Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Season ground beef with salt and pepper in mixing bowl.
- Step 2: Form Patties – Divide beef into 8 equal portions and form into small patties slightly larger than bun size.
- Step 3: Cook Patties – Cook patties in skillet over medium heat for 4 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Step 4: Add Cheese – Place half cheese slices on patties during final minute of cooking to melt properly.
- Step 5: Assemble – Slice buns and layer with patties, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, ketchup, and mustard on baking sheet.
- Step 6: Final Warm – Bake assembled sliders for 5 minutes to warm through and meld flavors. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Make a small indent in each patty center to prevent puffing during cooking
- Don’t press down on patties while cooking to retain juices and flavor
- Toast buns lightly before assembly to prevent sogginess from condiments
- Let patties rest for 2 minutes after cooking to redistribute juices
