Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package (8 buns) King’s Hawaiian Sweet Slider Buns
- 9 slices roast beef
- 5 slices provolone cheese
- 3 slices cheddar cheese, cut into squares
- 2–3 tablespoons chipotle sauce
- 1/2 cup French’s Crispy Fried Onions
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Instructions
- Open slider buns and lay down 5 slices of provolone cheese on the bottom halves, ensuring even coverage
- Layer roast beef slices over cheese, then add chipotle sauce, cheddar cheese squares, and crispy fried onions
- Place top halves of slider buns on sandwiches, pressing gently to secure layers
- Brush melted butter over bun tops, sprinkle with garlic powder and sesame seeds
- Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes until cheese melts and tops are golden brown
Notes
- Melt butter in microwave for 20-30 seconds to ensure easy spreading and better flavor distribution
- Don’t overload with chipotle sauce as it can make buns soggy; start with less and add more if needed
- Cut cheese squares slightly smaller than bun size to prevent excessive melting and spillage
- Let sliders rest for 2-3 minutes after baking to allow cheese to set and prevent messy eating
- Cover with foil during last few minutes if tops brown too quickly while cheese is still melting
