Description
This quick and creamy fudge made with condensed milk is rich, sweet, and perfect for satisfying a sweet tooth.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the pan: Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt the chocolate: In a saucepan, combine the sweetened condensed milk and chocolate chips over low heat. Stir continuously until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
- Add flavoring: Remove from heat, stir in vanilla extract, salt, and walnuts (if using).
- Set the fudge: Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours or until firm.
- Cut and serve: Once set, lift the fudge from the pan using the parchment paper, slice into squares, and enjoy!
Notes
- For a creamier fudge, you can swap semi-sweet chocolate chips with dark chocolate or milk chocolate based on your preference.
- You can also sprinkle sea salt on top of the fudge before chilling for a sweet-salty contrast.
- Fudge can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
- Feel free to add other toppings like dried fruit or shredded coconut for a twist!
