Instructions
- Using a hand mixer, blend cream cheese and mayonnaise in a small bowl until completely smooth. Stir in fresh dill, chives, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Evenly spread the cream cheese mixture onto one side of each bread slice, ensuring complete coverage from edge to edge.
- Thinly slice cucumbers and layer them over half of the prepared bread slices. Add extra herbs if desired for enhanced flavor.
- Top with remaining bread slices, remove crusts if desired, and cut each sandwich into 3 equal pieces for elegant presentation.
- Serve immediately for best texture, or cover and refrigerate for up to 24 hours if preparing ahead.
