Ingredients

- 1 lb steak (ribeye/sirloin), cubed
- 3 cups day-old cooked rice
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup frozen peas & carrots
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Sear steak in butter, remove.
- Sauté garlic in remaining butter.
- Scramble eggs in the same pan.
- Stir in peas & carrots.
- Add rice; break up clumps, stir-fry.
- Pour in sauces; mix well.
- Return steak; heat through.
- Garnish with green onions; serve.
Notes
- Use day-old rice for best texture.
- Don’t overcook steak; it finishes in the rice.
- Clarified butter adds deeper flavor.
