- 1/2 cup pure honey
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Activate Yeast: Combine warm milk (110°F), sugar, and yeast in large bowl. Let sit 5-10 minutes until frothy and bubbly.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: Add melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract to yeast mixture. Whisk until well combined.
- Form Dough: Gradually add flour, mixing until soft dough forms that pulls away from bowl sides.
- Knead Dough: Turn onto floured surface and knead 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- First Rise: Place in oiled bowl, cover with damp cloth. Let rise 1 hour until doubled in size.
- Shape and Fill: Punch down dough, roll into rectangles. Spread butter-cinnamon mixture, roll tightly into logs.
- Second Rise: Place rolls in greased baking dish. Let rise 30 minutes until puffy.
- Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake 20-25 minutes until golden brown on top.
