  • Β½ medium yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 large head broccoli
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 3 medium scallions

Instructions

  1. Prepare Sauce: Whisk soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and cornstarch in small bowl until smooth
  2. Heat Pan: Add sesame oil to large deep skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering
  3. Cook Beef: Add ground beef and chopped onion, stirring occasionally until meat is almost cooked through (5 minutes)
  4. Add Sauce: Pour in prepared sauce, stir to combine, and cook for 1 minute until thickened
  5. Finish Dish: Add blanched broccoli and cook 1 more minute until heated through
  6. Serve: Divide among 4 plates over rice if desired, top with sesame seeds and sliced scallions

Notes

  • Blanch broccoli beforehand to maintain bright green color and perfect texture
