- 1 lb chicken breast, pounded to even thickness
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated cheese
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Prep: Boil salted water, cook pasta until al dente, drain and set aside
- Sear: Heat oil in skillet, season chicken, cook until golden brown both sides
- Build Sauce: Add garlic and sauté, drizzle honey, pour broth and scrape pan
- Finish: Add pasta to skillet, toss with sauce, top with cheese and parsley
Notes
- Pound chicken to even thickness for consistent cooking and tender results
- Reserve pasta water to thin sauce if needed during final tossing
- Let honey bubble and darken slightly before adding broth for deeper flavor
- Don’t rush the honey caramelization step as it creates the signature taste
