Huckleberry Balsamic Vinaigrette Recipe


Ingredients

  • ¾ cup huckleberry syrup
  • ¾ cup balsamic vinegar
  • ¾ cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried mint leaves
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed

Instructions

  1. Add huckleberry syrup, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil to your salad dressing dispenser or squeeze bottle
  2. Add dried mint, sea salt, black pepper, and crushed garlic clove to the liquid mixture
  3. Shake the bottle vigorously or whisk the ingredients until the vinaigrette is completely emulsified
  4. Pour over your favorite leafy salad mix and enjoy immediately

Notes

  • Natural separation is normal – always shake before using
  • Store in refrigerator for up to one week in a sealed container
  • Bring to room temperature before serving if refrigerated
  • Can substitute fresh mint (1 tablespoon) for dried mint
  • Works great as a marinade for chicken or glaze for grilled proteins
