- 4 pieces Burger buns
- 4 slices American or cheddar cheese
- 1 cup crisp Lettuce leaves
- 1 medium, sliced Tomato
- ½ cup Pickles
Instructions
- Step 1: Prepare Patties – In a large bowl, combine ground beef with salt and pepper; mix gently and form into four equal patties
- Step 2: Heat Grill – Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F) for optimal cooking temperature
- Step 3: Cook Patties – Grill patties for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare; adjust cooking time to desired doneness
- Step 4: Add Cheese – In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty and close the grill lid to melt
- Step 5: Toast Buns – Toast burger buns on the grill for about 1 minute until golden brown and slightly crispy
- Step 6: Assemble – Place patty on bottom bun, then add lettuce, tomato, pickles, and any additional desired toppings
