- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Heat-treat the flour: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread flour on a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes to kill any bacteria. Let it cool completely.
- Cream the butter and sugars: In a mixing bowl, beat softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add wet ingredients: Stir in vanilla extract, milk, and salt until well combined.
- Mix in flour: Gradually add the heat-treated flour to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips: Gently stir in mini chocolate chips.
- Serve: Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
Notes
- Customize by adding sprinkles, nuts, or different types of chocolate chips.
- If it’s too thick, add an extra splash of milk to adjust the consistency.
