Ingredients
Scale
- 3 oz chai tea concentrate
- 4 oz + ¾ cup 2% milk
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 2½ tbsp pumpkin spice sauce
- 1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice
- 2 tsp vanilla syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Sauce Prep: Heat condensed milk, pumpkin puree, spices, and salt in saucepan until bubbling (5 minutes, medium-low heat)
- Cool & Flavor: Remove from heat, add vanilla extract, refrigerate until cool (15+ minutes cooling time)
- Foam Creation: Combine milk, cream, vanilla syrup, and pumpkin sauce in jar, shake well (30 seconds vigorous shaking)
- Final Assembly: Add chai concentrate to ice-filled glass, pour milk, top with frothed foam (2 minutes, sprinkle spice on top)
Notes
- The pumpkin sauce can be made up to one week ahead and stored covered in the refrigerator for convenience.
- For best foam results, ensure all ingredients are well-chilled before frothing to create more stable, longer-lasting texture.
- Chill glasses beforehand to keep drinks colder longer and prevent rapid ice melting.
- Adjust sweetness by varying pumpkin sauce amount rather than adding extra sugar for better flavor balance.
