No-Bake Reeses Peanut Butter Dessert Cheese Ball

  • Author: Jennie Graham
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 12 servings 1x

Description

A creamy, no-bake dessert combining cream cheese and peanut butter, coated with colorful Reese’s Pieces. This show-stopping treat is perfect for parties and can be served with graham crackers or other dippers for a crowd-pleasing sweet experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounce package cream cheesesoftened
  • 1 ½ of cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 tsp of pure vanilla extract
  • 1 ¼cup of powdered sugarsifted
  • ¾ cup of Reese’s pieces candies
  • 2 sleeves of graham crackers broken into individual pieces(You can also use vanilla wafers, hard pretzels, mini Hershey’s bars, apple slices, broken pieces of sugar cones (my favorite) or broken pieces of sugar cone bowls.)

Instructions

  1. Using either a stand mixer, or a medium size mixing bowl and a handheld mixer on medium-high speed, beat together the softened cream cheese, creamy peanut butter and vanilla extract for 1 ½ – 2 minutes until smooth.
  2. Add the sifted powdered sugar and continue mixing for another 1 – 1 ½ minutes.
  3. Measure out 2 pieces of plastic wrap in a crisscross pattern. Spoon the peanut butter mixture into the center of the plastic wrap and shape into a ball. Tightly wrap the peanut butter ball in the plastic wrap. Chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  4. Just before serving, unwrap the peanut butter ball and place in the center of a serving plate.
  5. Lightly press the Reese’s pieces onto the surface of the peanut butter ball. Arrange the graham cracker pieces around the decorated peanut butter ball.

Notes

Can be made up to 2 days in advance and stored in the refrigerator. Allow to sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes before serving for easier dipping. Leftovers can be stored wrapped tightly in plastic wrap for up to 5 days. For best results, use commercial creamy peanut butter rather than natural varieties.
