Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat – Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) for optimal roasting temperature
  • Step 2: Prepare – Wash carrots and green beans thoroughly, then slice carrots into sticks and trim bean ends
  • Step 3: Season – In large bowl, toss vegetables with olive oil, salt, pepper, and thyme until evenly coated
  • Step 4: Arrange – Spread mixture on parchment-lined baking sheet in single layer without overcrowding
  • Step 5: Roast – Roast for 20-25 minutes until tender and caramelized, stirring halfway through
  • Step 6: Serve – Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving warm

Notes

  • Cut carrots into uniform sticks about 1/2 inch thick for even cooking throughout
