Description
Golden flaky crescents filled with scrambled eggs, melted cheese, and savory halal sausage links. Ready in just 30 minutes for the perfect morning treat.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 4 large eggs
- 8 halal breakfast sausage links, fully cooked
- 4 slices cheese (cheddar or American work great)
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Beat eggs in a small bowl, reserving 1 tablespoon for brushing.
- Scramble remaining eggs until just set but still creamy.
- Unroll crescent dough onto clean work surface. Separate into 8 individual triangles.
- Cut each cheese slice in half. Place one half on the wide end of each triangle.
- Add a spoonful of scrambled eggs on top of the cheese.
- Place one halal sausage link on the eggs.
- Roll up triangles starting from wide end, enclosing filling completely.
- Arrange crescents on ungreased baking sheet with points tucked under.
- Brush tops with reserved beaten egg. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Bake 15-18 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
Notes
- Don’t overfill crescents or they’ll burst open during baking
- Let scrambled eggs cool slightly before adding to prevent soggy bottoms
- Seal edges well by pinching dough together
- Space crescents 2 inches apart for even browning
- Check bottoms at 15 minutes – they should be golden brown when done
